COVID-19 / Coronavirus

Tuesday 5th January 2021 – Please see our updated guidance regarding Will and LPA appointments in Dover

We want to summarise our plans and policies about COVID-19 so that they are clear for you to understand; particularly if you are a current, or potential new client of the firm.

      • We remain open however we have decided to close our doors in line with Government guidelines. We took this decision in order to keep both staff and clients as safe as possible.  Our staff continue to work from home and are ready to help you.

      • We are continuing to work hard for our current clients and we are happy to take on new clients and cases. We are committed to doing everything we can to offer legal services during this particularly difficult time.

      • We will talk to clients individually in order to work out what is best for their specific case and to decide the best way forward as to how to communicate appropriately.

      • We are happy to arrange telephone appointments or FaceTime/Zoom/Skype appointments – your individual needs will be considered.

      • Contacting your Solicitor/Fee Earner via e-mail is preferable as it is likely that e-mails will be more accessible for everybody.  Please see Our People page for their contact details.

      • We have also set up an emergency number for out of office hours urgent matters which simply cannot wait: 07592 667611. Please do remember though, that most queries should be able to wait until the next morning.

We want to reassure you that we are 100% committed to working as hard as ever for our clients, particularly during these uncertain times. We are only a phone call away if you would like to discuss any of this with us.

Thank you for your understanding.

Updated guidance regarding Will and LPA appointments in Dover

Following updated Government guidance, we are now only able to offer prearranged appointments in our Dover Office for the signing of urgent Wills.

We have implemented the following measures and ask that you work with us to ensure we can continue to offer this service as safely as possible.

It is very important that you do not attend if you (or anyone you have been in contact with, in the last 14 days) are showing signs of COVID-19 (external link).

For us to comply with the requirements of the NHS Test & Trace (external link) scheme, we will store your name, a phone number and/or email address. These details, along with the date and time of your appointment, will be digitally stored for 21 days and will not be used for anything other than this purpose.

Please come to your appointment on your own. If this is not possible, please notify us in advance.

If you have your own face mask, we ask that you please wear it over your nose and mouth at all times while you are in the office.

Please try to arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. Ring the doorbell at the front door a member of staff will open the door when we are ready for you to enter.

Please sanitise your hands thoroughly.

Please take a mask and put it over your nose and mouth.

Please use the bag to dispose of the mask and gloves at the end of your appointment.

Please put on a pair of gloves.

Please make sure you maintain social distancing at all times by staying behind the orange lines on the floor.
