Sara Mounsey

Educational Background: Sara has been practising family law for many years, initially as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and since 1994 as a solicitor. She is a member of both Resolution – First for Family Law and The Law Society's Family Law Accreditation Scheme.

Professional Experience: Sara joined Stilwell & Singleton at the beginning of June 2018, having moved from a firm in Thanet where she had been working for several years. She has a wealth of experience in all aspects of family law.

Sara advises on all aspects of divorce and related issues, including:

• Financial matters such as maintenance assessments, division of property and assets, including savings and pensions
• Child arrangements orders for residence and contact
• Complex matters like the removal of children from the jurisdiction of England and Wales to live elsewhere

In addition to advising on divorce and related matters, Sara also advises cohabitating couples on relationship breakdown and has experience in preparing pre and post-nuptial agreements. She has also advised grandparents on contact issues with their grandchildren.

Sara is committed to working closely with her clients to achieve the best possible outcome by the most appropriate means. Her straightforward and understanding manner means that a great deal of her work is achieved through client recommendations.
